My screenplay, AT THE GATES OF HADES, a mythological epic, high fantasy, literary retellings, and historical fiction with a fantastical twist, based on my novel "At the gates of Hades", garnered significant international recognition, winning over 25 awards and distinctions at film festivals worldwide.

AT THE GATES OF HADES plunges into the tumultuous aftermath of the Trojan War, where a traumatized Odysseus faces a new, existential threat. His journey home becomes a desperate quest in seeking to tear open the Gates of Hades. With the fate of both realms at stake, the weary king must do what he dreads most: reunite a fragmented band of legendary heroes—men as broken as he is—and lead them back into the Underworld for a final, desperate battle.

Το Στις πύλες του Άδη βυθίζεται στο ταραχώδες απόηχο του Τρωικού Πολέμου, όπου ένας συντετριμμένος Οδυσσέας αντιμετωπίζει μια νέα, υπαρξιακή απειλή. Το ταξίδι του προς την Ιθάκη μετατρέπεται σε μια απελπισμένη αποστολή: να ανοίξει τις  πύλες του Άδη. Με τη μοίρα και των δύο κόσμων να κρέμεται από μια κλωστή, ο κουρασμένος βασιλιάς πρέπει να κάνει αυτό που φοβάται περισσότερο — να επανενώσει μια διαλυμένη ομάδα μυθικών ηρώων, αντρών πληγωμένων όσο κι εκείνος, και να τους οδηγήσει πίσω στον Κάτω Κόσμο για μια τελική, απεγνωσμένη μάχη.

My novel reimagines these classic Greek myths with a focus on the profound psychological burdens of its heroes, exploring themes of atonement, destiny, and the enduring human cost of legendary conflicts. It balances high-stakes action with deep character introspection, creating an accessible fantasy that will engage a wide readership.

Το μυθιστόρημά μου αναπλάθει τους κλασικούς ελληνικούς μύθους με έμφαση στα βαθιά ψυχολογικά βάρη των ηρώων, εξερευνώντας θέματα όπως η εξιλέωση, η μοίρα και το διαχρονικό ανθρώπινο τίμημα των θρυλικών συγκρούσεων. Συνδυάζει ένταση και δράση με βαθιά ενδοσκόπηση χαρακτήρων, δημιουργώντας μια προσβάσιμη αλλά βαθιά φαντασία που αγγίζει ένα ευρύ αναγνωστικό κοινό.

ABOUT ME

I am a Greek author with a portfolio spanning fantasy, historical fiction, and horror. My novel Bonds of Blood was nominated for Best Fantasy Novel at the EVERLIES Awards, and my horror novella The Sentinel won 1st Prize at the Larry Niven Fiction Awards. I have written and directed award-winning screenplays and multimedia projects and am passionate about stories that cross borders, genres, and media.

Είμαι Έλληνας συγγραφέας με έργο που εκτείνεται στη φαντασία, την ιστορική μυθοπλασία και τον τρόμο. Το μυθιστόρημά μου Bonds of Blood προτάθηκε για το Βραβείο Καλύτερου Μυθιστορήματος Φαντασίας στα EVERLIES Awards, ενώ η νουβέλα τρόμου The Sentinel απέσπασε το 1ο Βραβείο στα Larry Niven Fiction Awards. Έχω γράψει και σκηνοθετήσει βραβευμένα σενάρια και έργα πολυμέσων, και με παθιάζουν οι ιστορίες που υπερβαίνουν τα σύνορα, τα είδη και τα μέσα.
